IT Department

A core team of three people make up the IT division of Speed Frame. John Riley heads the hardware and networking side of IT, whilst his colleague Lee Ogley deals with the software needs of the company, which involves sourcing external specialist organisations to bring innovative and long term solutions to support continued growth.

Currently the team look after over one hundred PC's across the site. All these machines are strategically networked to several servers. We have to be experts across a range of software applications and hardware platforms, says John, And it isn't just office based technologies that we have to keep up-to-date with, all our factories are continually updating and using the very latest IT solutions to keep the company ahead of its competitors.

The aim within the IT department is to analyse problems and possible areas for improvement, via the use of new technologies and software and to then create a working solution using said technologies.
